Updates from St. Michael’s

Thank you so much for supporting our chocolate sales. We have already sold more chocolate than last year. I will update you with the total when our fundraising is complete. The deadline for our chocolate fundraising is Friday, November 10th. Please return all money and unsold chocolate by that date.

Mr. Nastasiuk coached the intermediate co-ed flag football team at regionals and the students represented our school well.

Mr. Dorion and Mrs. Piitz are coaching the junior teams in volleyball. Intermediate girls’ basketball and intermediate boys’ volleyball will be starting soon.
Intermediate boys’ basketball and intermediate girls’ volleyball start after the Christmas holiday.

Mrs. Sutton and Mrs. Patrick coached our cross-country team. We took second place in the regionals. We were in first place for one day until they recalculated the score.

Our learning commons is growing and Mrs. Tilley is constantly adding something new. The students are currently involved in an international coding competition.

We are going to attempt to do a video newsletter that is directed by students. We are investigating how to do this with a private Youtube address.

Parent –teacher conferences will be on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 16th and on during the day on Nov. 17th. Information on how to register online will be sent out as soon as we receive it.

For early pickup, please put a note in your agenda.

There is no supervision in the yard until 8:40 so students cannot be on school property until that time unless they are on a sports team.

Dogs are not allowed on any school property.
